MacEntyre's AcomplishmentsTips:
A brief list of Accomplishments must be included in a resume under each position listed in your reverse chronological history of employment. You should also make a separate document that is just a little more detailed. (Why keep it short? To find out, click here and read about how PAR ties in with interviewing.)
Rank order your accomplishments, putting those of which you are most proud at the top.
Write up each accomplishment using no more than three sentences.
Each accomplishment must answer these three questions:
1. What Problem did you face?
2. What Action did you decide to take?
3. What Results did you acheive for the business?
Be sure to take personal credit for results that were your responsibility. (You must claim what is yours.)
When considering a specific position, edit your accomplishments to highlight those that directly relate to the business goals of the company.
